Military Insurance continues the journey of giving love in the middle of the pandemic
In the past month, the 4th wave of Covid has returned to Vietnam with complicated developments, resulting in the number of infections increasing rapidly day by day. The pandemic has appeared in 30 provinces and cities, including the pandemic centers of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
All over Vietnam, Vietnamese shared one spirit, chanting the slogan "Believe in Vietnam - determined to repel Covid". We have seen the "soldiers" in white coats forget to eat and sleep day and night, sweating; there are those exhausted in protective suits in 35-36 degree weather of summer. All are proactive, raising awareness of pandemic prevention; from the elderly to children who are just 3-4 years old, everyone is self-isolating, etc. However, the pandemic broke out with the number of cases increasing rapidly day by day while medical facilities are still limited. Besides, thousands of workers and citizens in industrial zones are being severely affected by the pandemic.
Understanding the hardships and dangers of frontline medical staff as well as the difficulties of citizens and localities struggling to fight the pandemic. On May 22, Military Insurance launched MIC campaign "uniting, sharing - joining hands to fight the pandemic".
Accordingly, MIC would like to send 70 million VND and hundreds of essential gifts to Bac Giang - the locality most affected by the pandemic through the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province and the districts of Lang Giang, Yen The, and Hiep. Hoa, Luc Nam. That action shows affection and high sense of responsibility for the community. MIC accompanies the locality in pandemic prevention and control, and provides resources to strengthen measures to ensure social security, life safety and people's health.

It is known that this meaningful series of MIC programs will continue to visit and give 50 million VND to the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province. Hopefully this meaningful action will help to join hands with the locality to soon prevent the pandemic and stabilize life. Besides, MIC will also give gifts and send greetings to the medical team at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in the near future.

Facing the complicated developments of the pandemic as well as in response to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the launching ceremony of the whole people to support and prevent the Covid-19 pandemic. On May 27, MB Group directly donated 30 billion VND to support the Vaccine Fund to join hands with the government to quickly expand Covid vaccination to everyone. And MIC is proud to be a member of MB Group - the leading flag in social security movements, joining hands with the community to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a culture of sharing, joining hands with the community of MIC employees has built the "Golden Heart Fund - 2000 hearts, 1 beat" sharing a day's salary to accompany the country's fight against Covid. The contributions, though small, come from great hearts, gradually creating a spiritual strength, a humane-rich activity, spreading in the corporate culture. Previously, during the pandemic in August 2020, the Fund also donated 150 million VND to two localities - Quang Nam and Da Nang - to support the fight against the pandemic.

Gifts of necessities sent to the Bac Giang Red Cross Society for pregnant female workers.
During more than 13 years of development, MIC constantly builds a strong corporation with the desire to bring services closer to customers. In addition, MIC always orients towards the goal of sustainable development: along with the business development strategy are social security activities of practical significance to the community stemming from the tradition of kindness, aiming at good life values. This also shows the corporate culture and its solidarity for the community.
Earlier in 2020, when the Covid pandemic appeared in Vietnam, MIC pioneered to award medical staff and doctors an insurance program with a protection benefit of VND 100 billion. Besides, MIC is also the pioneer sponsor of the first Nanocovax vaccine trial project in Vietnam. With the community activities, MIC hopes that the gifts will be a source of spiritual encouragement to the doctors, nurses and volunteers on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic and that it can join hands to help people soon fight the pandemic and continue to develop life and the economy.
